ECG Customers Frustrated Over Inability To Buy Power In Parts Of Accra For Past 3 Days

Some customers of Electricity Company of Ghana, ECG, have for the past three days, been combing parts of the Accra in search of power, but all to no avail. They also expressed fears that the crisis experienced two months ago, where ECG could not sell power to consumers is back. The problem, customers believe was not solved
completely, and is even worse now. Both the third-party vendors and ECG blame the problem on the system being down. Some consumers at the ECG Office at Legon, who spoke to media, complained that food items in their refrigerators are going bad, describing the situation as unbearable considering the current economic challenges.
