Kwame Kyei’s tenure as the Kotoko Chief has come under serious scrutiny after the club was heavily fined by FIFA for failing to adhere to an earlier order from the world’s governing body for football coupled with other engagements and
disengagement’s of players and coaches that have led to the club paying some heavy compensation packages plus the club’s inability to meet requirements of the Ghana Football Association’s club licensing committee.
Other members of the Asante Kotoko management team that appeared before the committee at the Manhyia House of Chiefs where the committee has been sitting are George Amoako(CEO) and Nana Gyambibi, General Manager.
The Manhyia 3-member investigative committee was given four weeks to carry out their mandate and submit a report to Otumfuor after which a decision will be made on Kwame Kyei’s three-year stewardship of the club.
