Your Resignation Too Late – Omane Boamah To Alan Kyerematen
Former Communications Minister, Dr Edward Omane Boamah has described the resignation of Trades Minister, Alan Kyerematen, as ‘too late’. Reacting to the news of the minister’s resignation, the former NDC appointee said the move is behind time, given that Mr Kyerematen has already contributed to the deterioration of Ghana’s economy.
According to him, Alan and other members of the country’s economic management team have collectively sunk the country hence it is too late for him to exit the scene. He therefore charged the minister to rather stay at post and apologise to Ghanaians for the harm caused. “Alan JohnKwadwoo Kyerematen it’s too late, just too lae to resign from this sinking ship.

News of Mr Kyerematen’s resignation went viral on Friday morning, after multiple sources close to the minister told the media the tendered his resignation to President Akufo-Addo on Thursday, January 5, 2023. Rumours of his resignation have been rife, following indications about his intention to contest the NPP flagbearership slot. It is however unclear whether his substantive resignation is to that effect.
